Hey there,

it's been quite a while, since I posted some progress Updates, but now it's time. The First Demo of Mario Heroes 2 is done and almost the next aswell.

GENERAL

It contains the whole World 1 of the Game. The reason it took so long was because I completly
overhauled the Game, after reading a few Feedback posts, about it. This means now the First World has 12 Levels (Not counting Fortresses and Castles),
instant of the orginal 6. It has a completly new Overworld in RPG style (Thanks to PROX'S Awesome GFX Pack) and everythink else than a linear structure.
Besides the known Secret Exits, giving the Player multiple ways to reach there destination, there is now also a direct level choice at some points, which
2 Bosses waiting a one end each.


STORY

Mario Heroes 2's Story plays 3 Months after Mario Heroes 1. The Royal Family's united, the Raven Stars are sealed away, Bowser quite and Xenon got defeated.
It seemed like a Great Day for Tina's Family. Nothing from Bowser or anyone else and the Queen, Mother of Tina and David was back from her Business trip. But
suddently a huge Laser Beam got fired at the Castle, by No one less than King Wart from Subcon. He found the former ring, turned Seal and knew it Power pretty
quick. He decided to 'team' up with Bowser for this one, so he could use him or his things aswell. However the castle collapsed at once and the Queen got buried
under roof and died on her injuries. David couldn't handle it and ran off, Tina goes after him now with the help of Mario and Waluigi. There Goal is to stop Wart, before
the Seal's fully recharged. Wart on the other hand's not stupid. He and Bowser send out all there Generals and Lieutants to keep the Heroes away. There are:

Captain Goomba - A high-ranked member of Bowsers Army and Leader of the Weapon Production

Boom - Boom - A kind of average member of Bowsers Army, but a very Creative one.

Kamek - A powerful magician and Bowser's right hand.
Image
Birdo - A very unique member of Wart's Army. She does is known for never giving up.

Ninjina - A highley skilled Constructor of all kinds of machines.

Clawgrip - A very strong member, who's especially known for throwing huge rocks.

Mouser - Wart's most trusted lieutant and Master of Bombs and Traps.

Lord Derek Skies - The Mushroom Kingdoms Second Wealthiest Citizen, a pyschopathic Monster who prefers TORTURE over TALKING

Rodrick - A Brutal and Very Sucessful Mercenary who takes every job. How messy it may be.

On the way, the Heroes will also entcounter a few other stange folks like:

Wario - The Master of Thievery himself, a cold hearted business man and Monster

Fey - Wario's right hand woman. She's a master of Fighting

Stanley - Greenys Employee of the Year and all past ones. Whereever Green goes, Stanleys with him.

The Playable Characters are only Mario and Waluigi at the moment, but in the Future Tina will join the team (Need to finish her GFX),

Mario - The Well-Known Hero.
Waluigi - A Former Villain, Turned Good.
Tina - The King's Daughter, seeking for an Adventure and find her Brother David.
Secret Character 1 - Complete the Story to unlock
Secret Character 2 - Collect All Stars to unlock
Secret Character 3 - Collect All Stars in the Main Game and all DLCs to unlock.

59 Views and not a single comment. Feedback is the only “payment" Fangame Designers get. I know it's Christmas time and not many people think about playing SMBX Episodes right now, but a single comment like "This looks intresting, I'll play it later" or somethink like that.

Little Correction: World 1 of course isen't 100% complete. The Toad Town Level is still missing. Also a bit Feedback would be quite nice 😐.

The screenshots of the levels look so good! I may try it later, but if you want people to give feedback, maybe try not begging for feedback so much?

My favorite screenshot is the Sillouette level, like from Donkey Kong Country Return btw.

Thanks :). I know, but I waited for a few days now already and with 140 Views it's a bit frustrating. The first time was defenitly to fast no doubt.

How are guests and bots supposed to give you feedback?
I know that many are guests or bots of course, but some people are active since my Topic was moving down, because of new comments in other Topics.

No... Defenitly not. I just wanted to say that not all Readers are Bots and Guests.

Okay, here I am. I know how you feel, but not getting any feedback happens really often, just like my own project (it hadn't got any update since November 2nd) and it has no replies ever since. (Though I'll release full version this month). But don't give up!

Also, I found some grammar issues:

  • It's mouth, not mounth
    It's pronounced something, not somethink
Overall, I really enjoyed Captain Goomba's fight, especially the background and the boss was really well done!
