Now, as the title says:

What is Super Metroid about? Who do you play as? (I know it's Samus, but is there a backstory, more to the character? I heard it's a girl, too for some reason)

What is the Mother Brain about, and I heard "Metroid" is a type of creature, correct?

I've been wanting to play this game (Super Metroid, SNES to be exact) on an emulator I have, but it's a little weird and for some, Dark, as well. (Plus Idk what button to press to fire the hand gun, so I never got past the weird dragon creature in the lab also the game has corpses, so tell me what this is about.)


Correct everything I have said, please, I'm a complete noob at this stuff.

I haven't played Super Metroid yet, but I'm very familiar with the control scheme for most of the (SNES) games.

My best bet is the fire button is either "A" or "Y"... I don't know...

Oh. Guess I'll have to Google it if I play someday
