SMBX: Sonic The Hedgehog X

Well, I finally finished my first major project, even though it may not be the best. This is compatible with 1.4.4. But anyways, I hope ya'll folks enjoy it as this is my first forum post aswell! (I also found out this was not compatible with 2.0, thanks Enjl for letting me know lol)

A "sequel" to Sonic 3 (& Knuckles), Sonic finally was able to get some rest after a long adventure, until Dr. Eggman started kidnapping critters again to turn them into Badniks! Which Tails actually thought, his true intentions were to collect the Chaos Emeralds for a giant plan aswell as recreating a new Death Egg! Knuckles and Shadow joined in his plan to help find the Chaos Emeralds so they could be rewarded, a long with Metal Sonic, but he has his own idea in mind, but its not best to tell someone a surprise after all. Will Sonic and Tails stop Dr. Eggman from what could be his most devious plan yet?!

**I do not take ownership on any graphics that were used in this episode, as I did make some. But huge credit to the people who created the GFXs!**

This episode contains with at least a variety of 9 zones, and 7 challenges made by me a long with a "secret final boss" I guess. I will be doing some bug fixes as well in the future. So feedback is appreciated, and expect a sequel to this! (Positive feedback on how I can improve my level design and plot creation is what I'm looking for, so thats welcome! I'm just not wanting harsh feedback as this is my first episode I ever made.)

Rule of thumb: Anything made in 38A's engine is inherently incompatible with SMBX2 as soon as any of that engine's features that weren't in 1.3 are used.

Judging by the trailer, this episode looks interesting to play so i will give it a try when i have a lot of free time.

Sadly, there is no spin dashing in this. Sorry, and actually I wished I was able to script it lol, but the Sonic playable character is able to "spin-dash" or just mainly slides on slopes.

That would be a spin attack. A spin dash is still until one stops revving.

how do I load it? I got the pack, I tried to jump right in the episode, but its title had random numbers and letters jumbled up, for example, 'wl1/32/34/67/35' so on so on im too lazy too make a full example, but I clicked it, and it was stuck on the loading screen. then I go to my smbx2 folder, worlds folder, Sonic the Hedgehog X, then there were files for the player sprites and npcs and other stuff, and ive NEVER replaced sprites or messed with any ingame stuff before, (well, I have, actually) when I tried, it was with a different pack and I just fucked up everything. so long story short, can I get some help with this?

This was made in SMBX 1.4.4, download that version if you want to play the episode.

Beautiful just like the original game. My favorite zone is undeniably Green Hill (also submitted my vote in the poll).

The episode turned out to be cool, I love Sonic games, and such an episode would really interesting for me! Well, time to play! ;)
