Judging by the green fps at the left top corner, the starman effect and the tryclide boss which there has been already a script for, this project is being made in 38A.(I am just giving information because i am sure someone will ask in which version is the project being made in)
Also the remake looks interesting but i don't like some of the aesthetics shown in the trailer however i hope your remake is easier than original.

yep, it's 38a, and I am making it easier in some aspects, more preferably, more extra lives
