Can't Enter Levels when playing custom episode

For some reason, when I start up SMBX and go to my custom episode and then try to play my level(s) by pressing Z, it won't let me enter them for some reason. Is this a glitch or my computer sucks?

For Bridge Zone, there's multiple giant Pirahna plants in the stage.
For Shadow's House, just mushrooms coming out of a pipe.

Sure he's not on the world map for this?
OP, Have you added your level filenames as the destinations for the warps to the levels? Could you share a screenshot of one of the level entrance configurations and show it to us?

I still haven't been able to enter levels in my custom episode. I've improved Shadow's Pod, but it's still broken. I'm still confused, and there's nothing on youtube related to this problem.

You put the levels in the folders. Move them out or rename the levels to [folder name]/[level name].lvl to make them work.
You should use PGE as it has a browse levels feature that shuld make it next to impossible to go wrong.

Never has it been required to have a level in its folder.
Doesn't a level with custom GFX need to be in the folder, and the custom GFX in another folder inside said folder?

No.
All .lvl files should always be in the episode root folder (that's the folder inside the "worlds" folder), not in their own separate folders.
