What's your Game of the Year for 2018

In 2017, I did a thread discussing a similar topic.
But now that 2018 is coming to a close, I decided that I should bring back an updated version of that post.
So, here we are.
What was your personal GOTY for 2018?
Like last year, the only limitation is that the game must have been released in 2018.

For me it would be Spiderman PS4, the story was amazing and i might say the best spiderman story i have ever experienced and the gameplay was amazing too. It's just the best game for me for this year.

Honestly, I did not play a game released in this already old year. Probably because is hard to buy that kinds of things in this country.

I have yet to play some great games that would perhaps change my opinion. This thread seems to be a month too early.

Oh wow, if red dead redemption 2 was released earlier this year, do you think it would have won the GOTY 2018?

I don't think I'll start or beat another game this year so I'm ready to post my final thoughts.
My GOTY is a three-way tie between Celeste, Smash Ultimate and Iconoclasts. They all hit me on different, equally exciting and incredible levels.
Out of the three, Celeste is definitely the most important for the industry and the most unique experience overall. The story is magnificent and it's a definitive must play from this year.
Iconoclasts really tickled my nostalgia bone in just about every aspect of its design. I got massive Pokemon Ranger flashbacks coupled with sweet sidescroller gameplay and great and numerous bosses.
Smash Ultimate is barely out and I don't like listing games outside of story-based content in GOTY rankings, but given World of Light I figured this one deserves it. I've already poured 50 hours into this game and there are probably hundreds more to come. The adventure mode is absolutely massive with nostalgia invoked through jpegs and gimmicks. It's funny how it works. Lots of stuff here that surprised me and made me laugh.

Bored of Smash Ultimate after about a few hours of playing the game in 4 days.
The other games must've really sucked if even your GOTY bored you after playing a couple of hours.

Let's just say, Smash Ultimate was nice, but

Celeste for sure. Also i liked Deltarune, but sadly it's not comparable to Celeste.
