I ask because as it stands, the code tag removes new lines and compresses the text into a solid, near-unreadable wall. I thought the point of that was to make it display more like readable code. Is there even any way to paste code with the correct indent formatting?

Maybe use quotes instead.

It works on the prosilver theme.
