Toad's Super Amazing, Epic, Apocalyptic Adventure that just so happened to pop out of nowhere for your viewing pleasure

Hey guys. Remember me? Of course you don't I'm just one insignificant nobody out of hundreds of insignificant nobodies. Will this level I'm about to show you change that? I'm going to go out on a limb and say no, not at all.

Anyways, what is this level about? Well, first off, it's not really 1 level, it's three merged together, but transitioning between 'em is seamless, so I decided, still counts.

Toad (the person you are playing as) has just woken up, disoriented, hungry, and most of all, completely bored. He leaves his house (or his crib, as he calls it) and begins to walk into town with his crew (that consists of two people: himself, and also himself.) to hit the "club" and maybe hit on a few of the chicks there. Unexpectedly, a Mushroom Retainer blocks his way, informing him the princess has been kidnapped. This doesn't particularly interest Toad, but after a bit of trickery on the Retainer's part, he begrudgingly walks off to the call of adventure.

And what an adventure it is. In this tutorial level, Toad fights the mafia that wants his money, learns the basic controls of SMBX to help him save the princess, and even meets the son of two demigods from hell that want to wipe out his universe on his way to save the princess.

If you want to help Toad, then hit this link right now:

(Note: I heavily suggest pressing "Download as ZIP" to get the file)
Also, here's an image of the level:

This is just the first level of an episode I'm still working on in the shadows, The Fate of the Mushroom Kingdom: The Quest from Hell. (Technically the second, but I worked on this before anything else and I feel it's a better introduction). My friend convinced me it was good enough to show, so here.

(Just a quick note: This level will only run in SMBX 1.4.4)

Glad you liked.

Yes, Toad will stay the main character. There are going to be a few mini-levels where control swaps over to Mario or Bowser, but it's pretty much all Toad, all the time.

I thought that was pretty obvious (well then again, you probably didn't read the OP (original post)).

UPDATE 3/10/19: Version 1.1; changed some of the music and touched up plenty of embarrassing typos.

Attention! All Mario gamers. Toad needs your help. This looks great, especially the title and description. I might give it a try.

I can't open the level. I wanted to try it seeing as Toad saying "shitting" was more than enough to pique my interest. Was this level made on 38A (SMBX 1.4) by any chance?
