Happy 20th Anniversary GameBoy Color! ^_^ (10/21)

For those who didn't know, today's the 20th anniversary of the launch of the GameBoy Color!

So so y'all have any memories of playing games on the GBC and/or plans for celebrating this anniversary? If so, reply them here! ^_^"

I remember playing Wario Land 2-3, SMBDX and Pokémon Crystal when I had my GBC. I was having fun and getting mad at some occasions. When I learnt that Wario can actually die at final boss, I almost threw my GBC.

And I sometimes failed to defeat Lance because I didn't know dragon type's weaknesses back then. I still have it, but it no longer works as its battery died.

Well, I'm too lazy to go and buy a new battery! XD

And if I would play them again, I would do it via emulators. I'm keeping it because it's a part of my childhood. My mom asks why I do keep my GBC still, though and I say, it's really worthwhile. Throwing it away is a great sin for a video game enthusiast like me!

(I also have a GBA, (Still works, but I don't enjoy playing it as much as I did in the past.) DS, (I gave it to my cousin because my family forced me sadly.) Wii U and 3DS as well. I'm saving up for a Switch, so I can play SSBU.)

But, idk if it's illegal to download ROMs and sell them, or to play ROMs you don't have. I think if you download the emulator you should play only the games you DO have, if you're doubting it

When i was in foster care, I remembered playing Wario Land 4, (great game, play it sometime) and Super Mario land 2 (I think..)

Other than that, foster care was the worst.

well, I never had a GBC, but with an emulator I played Mario Land (both 1 & 2) Some Wario games.. I forgot.

I relate the music to lots of games now...

I should try to use the music for my project, I honestly never looked into it.
