You prefer the forums or Discord? Forums/Discord discussion thread

Well this was called "You check who is online?" but since Eri7 and me started talking what is our preferences, I converted this in a topic to discuss where we feel better discussing about SMBX.
Well I prefer these forums as the third posts says

Well there is discord where you can chat with other people who like smbx if it's really that boring to you.
I don't really check who is online because it seems a bit pointless imo.

I feel more confortable in these forums. Discord is more complicated for me. Also my internet is bad and Discord would take time to load. So I feel better in here.

However a significant amount of activity happens exclusively on discord (both on the smbx server and other servers) and you won't notice it even remotely from the forums

(also I rarely use the who is online when I wonder whether someone is making a post anywhere)

Well you changed the topic so i have to make a new comment regarding it.
I prefer Discord, because there i can easily communicate with my dev team regarding the development of my project, i can easily advertise it by showing progress in various smbx related servers and i can easily get help because there are a lot more people there that are active.The forums are the place where i can present my project and give my opinions on various topics.So yeah, using Discord has helped me a lot regarding my project because i got to meet a lot of cool guys who have helped me a lot with my project and i learned a lot from them in terms of level design, graphics, fitting music choices for a level, good story telling and etc.
I recommend Discord for people who want to explore the smbx community and socialise in it.

It's easier to communicate on Discord. It's better to communicate on the forums.
