How do you think the next video games will be? What are your expectations for future consoles?

I'm JUST gonna bet that the future of video gaming would be nothing but SHITTY games and all boring af FPS games...

Which is why I mostly stick to (Nintendo) systems and retro gaming systems!

In the future, we will not play videogames, but the videogames will play us.

I think if AAA developers can learn to take more risks and see potential beyond their fat wallets, the future of gaming will be brighter. Companies like Rockstar and Nintendo definitely show what it looks like when games are made with love and effort.

That being said, the future of games probably will depend on indie developers as they become more mainstream. If even a few of them turn to making bigger, next-gen games, then that could rekindle the same kinda spirit that games had before things like loot boxes, when a game was really just made to be fun.

Future video games will probably become marginal until they start to evolve as a form of entertainment into something that wouldn't be called a video game any more. That won't be for a couple decades though maybe, but in the mean time they'll probably have full attention on immersion and be increasingly monetized (just like real life).

I think mod GhostHawk has a good point imo.

I expect more super hero games to be made that are as good as Spiderman PS4, more indie games to be made that are also good and new games with good stories in them.

Future of videogames will be full of crap 3D (FPS) games. Well, maybe theres gonna be some good ones in the future, and im almost sure that good games will be made by Nintendo.

If Fortnite is any indication, I think gaming is going downhill! Only Nintendo can save the future of video games..

Some of them are pretty decent, like Doom, Goldeneye 007, Metroid Prime. But the rest are crap imo

Newest games can be good too , but it's only your opinion , I understand .
