My favorite video game themes are the Mario and Luigi series music. The overworld and battle tracks are very fitting. My personal favorite is Never Let Up, the boss theme of Dream Team, I love that game so much, though I refuse to understand why it is so underrated, it is perfect and better than Paper Jam. #DreamsComeTrue #PaperBurns

Well Mega Man 9 wasn't on the NES, but it was made to be as faithful as possible to the NES. So it's still 8-bit. And yes, Mega Man 6 also has a good soundtrack.

Yeah i really do

I love most of Shoji Meguro's music, the soundtracks of Strange Journey and Digital Devil Saga in particular.

Splatoon's music is something I always enjoy listening to. I especially love the music that came from the Octo Expansion DLC.

Christopher Larkin (the composer for Hollow Knight) has some really good tracks. Here are a few examples that are my personal favorites:

I really like Grasswalk from Plants vs. Zombies, especially the Plants vs. Zombies 2 remix. Dunno if it's my favorite, though...

Random order (The ones I remembered first):
-Super Mario Galaxy 1 and 2 - Majority of the tracks
-Half-Life - Nuclear Mission Jam, Drums and Riffs, and some other ones
-Nuclear Throne - Kings and Queens of the Wasteland
-Super Mario Bros. 3 - Boss theme (normal and remixed, I really like it)
-The Ultimate DooM and DooM II - Majority of the tracks, my favourites of all are E1M1 (At Doom's Gate, from Ultimate Doom) and D_DOOM (That's the name of the file, I don't remember how it was called) from Doom II
-Strife - Majority of the tracks
-Streets of ROGUE (That's how the game is called, I don't mean Streets of RAGE) - Most tracks
-Super Mario World - Final Boss/ Bowser theme - (Really, REALLY liked it)
-Final Fantasy V - Map Theme and Boss Theme
-Mortal Kombat - I used to like one theme, but now I don't remember...
-Super Mario 64 - Most themes
-Undertale - Most themes
-Fallout 4 - Wanderer
