Is there moving layers in SMBX2?

When I opened the beta smbx2, I made a factory level and tried to make a moving layer. I COULDNT.
Added in 49 seconds:
theres no moving layers!!!

The layers and events buttons are at the end of the tool bar. They work the exact same as in legacy.
