(Idea) Hotel mario 2: Its newer, its better and its (hopefully) not rubbish!

Well, its not my current project, though I could share the idea, right? So here it goes...
story
As Mario and Peach were going for a walk, they noticed something strange. Instead of taverns at every corner, there were hotels with awfully high prices everywere. Even worse, they were extremely popular amongst the inhabitants of the mushroom kingdom and were quite conservative, thus posing a huge threat to the economy and if not dealt with, may cause a devastating cricis. So Mario&Co decided to manually close all the hotels. Their great adventure begins...
gameplay
The gameplay features bigger halls with more concern with the platforming (e.g. pit between to broken-down halls) and a much greater range of enemies, thus intertwining Hotel Mario gameplay with traditional mario gameplay. It removes the timer, and the player gets two mushrooms at the start. You still have to close all doors while enemies open them. Each hotel is a stage, and closing a hotel will open up new paths. The goal is to defeat at least four of the eight major bosses and then confront the final boss (beating them all and closing all 99 hotels in the main world unlocks a bonus).
Hotel Mario is ranked amongst the worst 1st party mario games in history.
So why not correct that mistake?
