One of my levels has a subscript out of range error when opening it, and when i open it in the actual game, it says "Player Start Point Not Found". I DEMAND help.

Version number? Sounds like 1.4.4 from a glance cause I haven't seen the latter error yet. You might be able to infer what's wrong with the file by opening the .lvl with a text editing program and cross-checking with this reference:

There are some spaces near the top which define player start points, usually. I suspect some line has gone missing at some point. It might help to compare this .lvl file to another, working .lvl file, to see which line looks odd between the two.

A filled level for comparison. In your level, there seems to be something weird in the second line, and there appear to be neither any sections nor blocks nor npcs initialised. If half your levels are like that, half your levels don't exist.

So all there is is a black void where nothing is heard but screams and flashing colors? If so,

Deleting and replacing the music file compresses the level into a singularity where nothing exists?!
I need the weird thing FIXED ASAP.

Sounds like a bug with 38A's programming to me. The problem here is... the information storing your level details has been completely wiped out. There's nothing I can help you with. Maybe a 38A expert could take a look and see if they can help, but the best advice I can give is to make frequent backups of your levels so that if this happens, you have something to fall back on.

Your level got corrupted and there is no way to recover it unless you had made a copy. I have seen this happen very rarely, but I am not aware of a reason as to why it happens. Can you elaborate what you mean with "And all i did was change the music file while the level was open." I am trying to reproduce this but I can't seem to corrupt the level. Did you rename the file or replace the file with a different song with the same name? Did you save normally or save by testing the level? Did the level get corrupted when you closed SMBX then open SMBX with the level or while you were mid-editing?
