If there is a counterclaim on the officer claim, we can have a 4-4 vote kit-b against them, and the officer with the 2 vote power can determine who the real officer is. Oh, x, you and your KITB strategies. I honestly think this plan has a few potential problems.
- The mafia would be dumb to try to fakeclaim anything other than Townie. Sure, they're all in contact and the second one down can choose to be an Agent, but only one of them can be green (thus making the possibility of two of them fakeclaiming Freemason not a good one) and none of them can be a Bartender (thus meaning the second mafia member would have to be very convincing in order to infiltrate, and even then, if the first special chose Sheriff, there could still be counterclaims).
- It's possible that the first special ignored this plan entirely and chose Sheriff thinking that inspections could save us if we have nothing else.
- An Arsonist could exist.
- We gotta list inactivity as a potential issue.
I will say that I am all for any way to start an alliance, but I have an idea of my own.
Have the Freemasons claim tomorrow.
Because they're in contact, one could easily confirm the other as a Freemason. They're also green, unlike most Masons, so it's not a wise decision for two mafia members to claim Freemason. I mean, remember what I said about fakeclaiming being a dumb idea for the mafia to go with? Fakeclaiming Freemasons is an even worse idea as it would most definitely cost the mafia two members. And there's only three of them. And again, only one of them can be green, so one of them has to be red if they go with the fakeclaiming route, which would hurt the attempt to make the town think they're Freemasons.
Also, since there's two Freemasons, if one goes down (due to any potential Doctor protecting the wrong one), the other would still be alive and we will still have one alliance leader.
The only reason why I think the real Freemasons should wait until tomorrow to claim is because of a possible Arsonist. If they claim tonight, they'll likely be dead on Night 3 if an Arsonist exists, whereas if they claim tomorrow, they'll likely be dead on Night 4 if an Arsonist exists, giving us at least one extra phase where we have confirmed towns. (Yes I checked that.)

Theres some problems with your idea though as well.
[*] The Freemason might have a AFK teamate, how is the teamate going to confirm them?
[*] The GF might claim Freemason with a AFK teamate.
[*] The SK could go the silent SK Strat, pretending to be a arsonist, resulting in having the Freemasons not being able to claim.
[*] There could be no sheriff to tell which claim is true when there are 2 different conflicting Freemason claims.
[*] The sheriff could die N1
[*] The other Freemason could die N1
[*] The GF migh claim Freemason and that the dead green N1 was their teamate.
[*] We could lose two confirmed town for the late game by letting them claim and them being vulnerable.
However, I do think the positives out way the negatives, and is a much better plan then the officer claiming.

The freemasons claiming is probably the best idea we got here. Also, even if this looks drastic, I think we should get rid of them all if there is a counterclaim and there is nothing to confirm who are the real ones. The only thing that comes to my mind is one of the claimers flipping red. Sheriff inspections won't work since a godfather could just say that his/her partner was someone that died n1.

Good wording in my part huh
What I mean with that is that the only way that I found to confirm the freemasons would be one of the claimers flipping red. In that case, chances are that the other claimers would be the real ones(Unless the mafia tries to have all of them claim with the godfather saying that the other freemason died but I doubt they would risk that much).

If I don't somehow reply I might be asleep at very awkward times so sorry about that if I do not seem to suddenly appear.
Anyways, by my readings, I feel the idea of having a freemason claim might not be a good idea considering the chances of us not knowing the roles of the mafia nor the specials. If anything I think it seems more dangerous to let the freemasons claim then not to let them claim. It's worth it to listen to others opinions though as one person might just have one idea instead.
