Understandable, actually. Random voting can take some getting used to. I remember when the strat was first used over at MosaicMafia. When it happened, only one other person decided to go random, and it was because she was the one Cedur placed a random vote on. Everyone else was like "let's see what she has to say" and did nothing.

However, in case you didn't see it, Cedur posted this article on random voting in Discord that probably explains some things about why Cedur started the random votes. Sure, it can get a blue killed for no reason, but there are two things that random votes can be useful (one of which I remember Cedur saying back then): they can lead to an inciting incident and they can pressure scums.

I don't have anything else to say other than that I'm town, though, so yeah.

You do realize that DPVM still went for Cedur at some point, right? Just because he changed his vote does not mean that he still intended to vote for someone that claimed to be a specific town role (like Freemason). He could have changed it to make himself look like town, but his previous action of voting Cedur first is still there.

i always planned to change my vote from the second i voted for cedur, i just voted for him because i didn't like random votes and was going to change to someone else in order to make it so that someone had two votes, PS, nice way to defend yourself.

Uh, what? The only reason why you voted him in the first place was to protest against random votes? ...You probably could've done that without voting for Cedur, as voting for Cedur was strange in the first place.

And I'll be straight with you, I don't think you defended yourself here well. How am I supposed to know that you didn't think up this "I was planning on changing from the beginning" thing on the fly when you said the following?

You may indeed have been planning on changing from the beginning, but I...am not 100% percent about that.

Eh, fair enough. I don't really have much more to say, though. Though, like Jacob, I don't really wanna die. (I mean, who does?) Though voting me because of the random voting thing isn't such a good reason, either.

I'll have to find someone that's suspicious for a better reason. I do think Radiance is town since he offered to be sacrificed, but, let's face it, mislynching is bad. I'd rather find a better lead than lynch someone that offered to be sacrificed.

i'd rather do that as well but majority of us already voted so we have to vote for someone, and i'd prefer not to leave it up to chance

Well, from what I can tell, the two big oddities are Jacob voting me back and LoafLord voting me seemingly randomly.

However, while Jacob did say that he didn't like the random voting thing, he did also say that he flipped a coin before voting me. I don't necessarily see him changing to me as revenge voting as a result of that. Had he said that he voted me all because of the random voting and because I was the first one after Cedur to random vote, I would've most definitely decided on having my vote on him stand.

LoafLord, on the other hand, only seems to have one reason to vote for me, and it seems as though the only reason I got his vote was because he wanted to get his vote off of DPVM. But...why? At that point in time, all DPVM really did was get his vote off of Cedur and get it on another random voter as he forgot about Cedur being a Freemason and he wanted to vote a random voter. But we didn't hear in-depth as to why DPVM initially went for Cedur in the first place. All I can think of is that LoafLord possibly thought DPVM changing alone was a good enough excuse to change to someone else. ...And this whole "I didn't see posts made while I was typing." thing doesn't make sense, either. From experience, I know that you're pretty much guaranteed to see posts made while you were typing one up.

So, I'll follow Radiance's lead and change to LoafLord. I will, however, also point out that Radiance was a bit hasty changing to LoafLord himself, but analyzing the situation myself made me think that LoafLord is probably a good idea.

I talked with him on the forums and i've had problems with seeing posts as well, though i do agree that he voted for you for no reason you do not see new posts unless you refresh the page, so you will not see posts made while you are typing.

Actually, you can see posts made while you were typing before refreshing the page, but that only happens if you press submit or preview after you finish typing. It shows you the posts in case reading them makes you make last second changes to yours before you actually post it. (This is typically known as being ninja'd).
