Images are broken

Hey, man. I was just browsing the forum and I just happened to notice that the images in my signature had turned into text hyperlinks. I can't seem to fix the problem. I think this might have something to do with the new PostImage integration.

Maybe it is something to do with [rimg] tags.

rimg, code and spoiler tags were effected by the board software update. rimg and code are being looked into, but in the mean time you could modify your signature in a way to include the images in a different way.

That happens because postimage changed its domain from postimage.org to postimage.cc. Just changing .org to .cc image links would be enough, but this goes to the owner's posts.

They have Imgur links in their signature and the postimage extension shouldn't have anything to do with it because it just serves as a direct upload button and link generator. I'm not sure about any problems like the one you mentioned occurring on the forums, but if there's an example please share.

I was talking mostly of old topics, the postimage extension seems up-to date so there shouldn't be problems with it. However, the old links are still redirecting to the previous postimage domain causing a lot of broken images. Here are some examples:

All my topics have broken images too (example of one). Since it's hard keep a track of people who have used postimage, I provided some few examples, but the problem is actually much wider.

I really don't know why, but pictures from DeviantArt don't show up even if i add the [img] code. Normally the logo of my project supposed to appear in my signature, but don't. It worked fine yesterday, until today...

If the issue is with rimg tags you must specify a width and height

Code: Select all

[rimg=width,height][/rimg]

Alternatively you could also just use normal img tags.

That width and height requirement didn't exist earlier. Couldn't the code be modified to have a default setting for the image's dimensions? It'd be less tedious to use that way.
