interesting, now we just need the body of the pipe as a tile or scenery.

They're really not custom if they're just the default sprite rotated and painted in different ways. The upside down ones could be usable when attached to walls, but the horizontal ones have a lot of issues, ranging from perspective to lighting. The one facing right in particular has the shadow come from the top, which goes against the lighting in every other sprite on the overworld, and the one facing left seems to have its lightest color removed in some of the sprites.
