Mafia 51 - Pick Your Poison
Mafia 10A (originally by krazykat) remastered
The game which starts with a choice.
- 16 players
- Cardflip
- 2 sides (Mafia and Town) - 4v12
- Semi-mystery
How the game's going to go down:
The game starts off with the players receiving their role PMs, which include a handful of choices to pick. There is a setup phase which'll last for 24 hours. (and won't end sooner under any circumstances due to meta evidence) During this, the mafia and the specials get to pick the roles of their choice, but the mafia only gets to know each other when Night 1 starts. After the setup phase will have ended, the game will go on like a regular game with the role choices staying unknown.

Godfather: Cardflips green upon death and inspection. Your votes are also worth two and the extra vote can break ties.
Blackmailer: Can silence a player each night to completely prevent them from talking and voting for the following day.

Consort: Can distract a player to roleblock them each night..
Stalker: Can visit a player to check who they visit during the night.
Thug: Can beat up a player each night. If that player dies that night or is lynched the following day, said player will cardflip black. Cannot target the mafia's kill victim.

M10A - Pick Your Poison
12 Players - Cardflip
This game would change around the Mystery Game mechanic to better suit creative players. Each player will receive a Role PM as usual, but the Role PM will have a variety of options if the player is chosen as a special role. There is a set number of Mafia, a set number of town, and a set number of third parties, but the player will be able to anonymously choose their role out of a set of possible choices. The game does not start until all players have decided on their role. Likewise, Mafia members will not receive the identities of their allies until they have selected their roles, to prevent plotting before the game starts.
Therefore, here are the possible Role PMs:

Godfather - A normal Mafioso who cardflips green.
Artistic Mafioso - A mafioso who can choose to paint players whom the Mafia kill. These paintings will only affect the given player if they are a normal townsperson or a miller.

The setup phase has begun. During this, the mafia members and the town specials get to pick their roles. Night 1 will begin at 8 PM CEST. When that happens, the mafiosi will get to contact each other and the game officially begins.

I claim that I am a townsperson. If people have no one to lynch on day 1, you can just lynch me to avoid mislynching an important role.

This will be very interesting. The only special that is kind of useless after 1 person has it is the dissector so I think no special should choose it because of the risk that one special will be useless.
