I'm not sure how that's extension related and this seems more SMBX Q&A related, but I'm not sure if that's possible with the what you're trying to do. You'd have to use the Post Reply button for the thread and then insert the quote into the post to keep the thread subject.

I forgot to mention that the image extension makes it impossible to move selected text to a different spot via drag and drop. Makes is even more annoying when this also happens outside of the Full Editor & Preview tab which doubles as the edit tab.
