Could someone tell me what a TI2 is? Already searched the forum for it, but got no result, because theat keyword is "too common". Sorry, like I said, I've been away for a while and so may have missed the introduction of a new term.

Too bad the server broke down when I wanted to reply, and the weeks afterwards, real live kept interfering :-/

So, what I wanted to propose is not a new TI2, but a tutorial episode on how to use the editor and a few ideas for it. Come to think of it... Obviously I should post it in the Feedback and Suggestions thread on Beta 4...

Um... Is it a forums glitch where I was editing mah profile information about a few minutes ago, and I got a error saying that my "Current Project" tab has invalided characters and the first character isn't a letter of the alphabet.... I had to leave that tab blank so mah profile can update...

Sure, but this is going to be the max. In the past it was set to whatever size an admin wanted for their profile and that's how we got some people with huge avatars, so I don't want to gradually increase it again. 128x128 will be where it stays.

Granted since many people still have larger avatars I think it would be fair to go to 150x150. I'm feeling mildly disadvantaged to people who have kept their old avatars

Probably for the better because of what has happened recently; keeps people from sending inappropriate PMs to children

We no longer feature episodes and GFX packs, and the wiki is dead with no plans on reviving it, so those pipes have become pointless.

Seems the homepage wasn't updated alongside these changes.

The previous suggestions for the homepage were:

- Put the focus on X2 by switching the 1.3.0.1 and X2 segment's positions (or removing the mention of 1.3.0.1 altogether since it's significantly outdated at this point) - reason for this is because new users still continue to download 1.3.0.1 and it's very likely the main reason for this is because 1.3.0.1 is the first download people see. Like for example, if i was a kid and saw a big flashy "Download Now" button then I'd automatically click it without checking for other download links below. Also, putting the focus on 2.0 would just make it much more modern and up-to-date.

- Changing the images. Currently they are all from The Invasion 2. I think it'd be a neat idea to replace these with screenshots from newer levels / episodes made in X2, to further showcase what X2 is capable of. Could possibly even regularly update said images as more and more new content comes along.

- News page (with newsletters and events?) - maybe it'd just link to the current newsletter but also it could perhaps just have the current newsletter on the page itself. Depends on the tech available.

Actually I'll just quote this from that thread:

Right now for the home page I think the SMBX2 trailer + the blog RSS + an ATOM feed for the newsletter would be sufficient for its return with new pipe pages.

Is this still in the works? I know we don't have those "new pipe pages" yet but honestly the home page really is in need of a makeover.

(Also the "Worlds" pipe is still on the bottom of the homepage)
