Confessions of a Gamer

I don't consider myself as a gamer but I definitely love playing videogames
And everyone who likes videogames hides something related to videogames and this topic is about it
I'll start: my confessions are 2 actually
1. I never completed SMB1 (nor the NES version nor the SNES version)
2. I always use turbo in Megaman
(Extra: I use the infinite time cheat in Lostmagic because 10 minutes is too little time to kill a hard boss...)
Which are yours?

I always like to cheat when stuff get too hard for me in games because i don't want to spend a lot of time on completing something unless its worth 100% of my time.

I'm kinda identified with that...
I use save states in NES games because I hate the password system, same with Megaman X

I've never beaten a Mario game made before the 21st century, I've gotten close but never got there.

I find 7-4 harder in SMB1 than SMB2. I also think I am a terrible hammer outside of SMBX.

I think it's because of the physics? that's the reason I never beaten SMB1, because it's hard to me play with these physics
I hate jump and suddenly fall quickly and I hate jump to just one side (remember that in SMB1 you can't change the direction when you jump)

You can kind of do it, although it is pretty hard.

And to add to that, I have actually seen more "mature" moves than I have played games.

- My only home and handheld consoles are NES, PS1 and Nintendo DS. The rest are emulators.
- Even though i know Sonic, i never played any Sonic games except Mania.

Same here
Also I save state after every level whenever playing a game with an emulator.
Edit: I looked through this topic and realized I have done like 80% of all the things said here lmao

I always hold down a button to run in sonic games out of habit not remembering it's an automatic thing(aside from sonic lost world *cough*)

The only Mature game I played growing up was
South Park for N64.
Also, I have a habit of playing
"H" games on the internet. o_0
