Yes I still support Trump. As Susan Sarandon who is a Democrat recently said "we need to pick a better candidate". She was referring to those attacking her for voting 3rd party in 2016. She did not like Hillary Clinton.

It's easy to see why many support trump. The alternative party is not doing so good. In 2016 after the election they were at their lowest point since 1929.

We will see who they pick this time but I will say I think Bernie may be the only 1 who has a chance of beating Trump. Bernie is far left and I don't like him but the party has to be completely united if they want any chance if beating Trump and I just don't see any other candidate uniting the Democratic party except Biden but he is way to weak in the debates. Trump will destroy Biden.

Trump's frequent twitter ramblings and distractions follow the trend of previous ramblings which were aimed at overwhelming the public so that the important news gets swept under the rug, covered by the "regular insanity". Some headlines from this week that didn't get enough attention:
https://www.salon.com/2019/08/23/whistl ... x-returns/
https://twitter.com/SethAbramson/status ... 5944974336 (Direct links to sources [1] [2])

I yearn for the days when the US president was in favour of unity within the country rather than spewing hatred and dividing it, tbh.
I agree Trump should show his tax returns. I feel he is wrong not to. Then again Nancy Pelosi has not shown here in like 50 years so we should go after every politician guilty of this. I understand it is a bigger deal for a potus.

The other story is developing and still hearsay but it could be true. Both parties had dealings with Russia from what I have read. Will have to wait and see what comes of it.

late but I'm getting back to Teemster

You say you support Trump, but you stand against racism and other right shit. Then are you not aware that Trump exactly embodies this shit? He at least supports all kind of discrimination and segregation, and it's not a far step from there to support violence, even if he superficially condemns violence (as I said he is still to blame). I don't think you can distance yourself from racists and extremists while spreading Trump's cheap enemy concepts and conspiration theories at the same time - against immigrants, against minority groups, against the media etc. Your language is not as harsh as his but the spirit is the same. Anyone who spreads baseless conspiration theories is a conspirator by himself.

As for the Democrats, do you still think they stand for the same as Hillary? From what I know they don't.

People would still vote Trump because they're dumb and because Trump feeds their cheap instincts.

Also Johnson and Bolsonaro are the same vile egomaniac shit. What's your position on them?

Many African Americans believe Trump is the first black president so hard to call him racist. I agree with what Trump says about 90% of the time but I don't always agree with how he says it.

Trump was not Hillary and he promised jobs. That's why he was elected. Now we have a new election without Hillary so democrats should have a better chance if they can unite their party. Many democrats voted for Hillary just to vote party but many did not vote or voted 3rd party so I agree that the majority probably do not support Hillary.

People will vote for Trump because of the economy, the Wall and he is not a Democrat. The Republicans are being pushed far to the right because of the dems, myself included.

I did not vote for Mitt Romney. I regret voting for bush or McCain and some days I regret voting Gor Trump because of his tweets and sometimes obvious lies. Having said that everyone lies. Hillary had a long list of lies. The dems lie in the debates.

My wife is from California. She said as a person she did not like trump. As a president she was happy with him. I feel the same. As a person Trump has made a lot if mustakes but as long as he is putting Americans first and our economy stays good I will vote for him again.

Democrats want to decriminalize our borders. A African American in Cali was begging for help from democrats at a meeting a few years back. She said the illegals move into poor black neighborhoods and turn them into ghettos. It's not the immigrants fault. Nobody provides them with places to stay and jobs. Democrats want to bring them in and offer free health Cate but have no solutions for the problems this will create if we just let anyone come in.

I honestly would be ok with Mexico becoming America so they have our laws and our pay wages thus a better economy but that will never happen. These people flee south America and mexico due to poor economies and the drug cartels etc. I know it sucks for them but we can't just let anyone in. In February 70 thousand immigrants were caught hopping our border. Where will they live? What about the ones who don't get caught that are sex trafficking kids?

I feel the democrats want the voters and that's it. Trump is not perfect but at least he is doing something. Obama was at first against illegals but then changed his stance. He gave them a get out of jail free card if they had kids thus makeing it easier to kidnap kids and enter the country. We need to figure out a way to make this all work and not just let them come in. I have no problem making it easier for them to become legal citizens but we must follow our laws and do this right.

Does Trump come off as racist? The media makes him out to be one. His recent comment about Jews being disloyal is because some dems from the squad are anti isreal and trumps message to Jews was you should support isreal. His message about the squad going back to their countries was poorly worded some all but 1 of them were born in America but an black man agreed with Trump and told me if you hate America get out. This black man also told me if Trump is racist then he is too. He also agreed with trumps comment on Baltimore. I think we should go after all big cities regardless of party. Our cities is falling apart and in Cali they are having a poop epedimic in San Francisco due to homeless Americans.

I work at a wind blade plant in iowa with a lot of minority groups. I did my research. Asians and Cubans lean Republican. Cubans heavily supported Trump. Hispanics and blacks lean Democratic. Trump only took 8% of black voters but it will be much higher this time. He took 29% Latino voters.

David Harris Jr, a now famous conservative black said 90% of his black friends now support trump and David was invited to the white house 3 times. He has a book out on why he became a conservative after 2016.

I will answer your last question when I have more time.

I don't support everyone in my party. I would love to see Mitch mconnel, Mitt Romney or Steve King go. No party is perfect but I can't vote Democratic because they are moving far left.

Obama went from 4 million dollars to 40 million when leaving the white house and just bought a 15 million dollar mansion and estate. Kanye West tweeted 8 years under Obama and nothing changed in Chicago. People die there every weekend.

It's not as if the democrats have done a lot to help minorities. 40 million dollars could go a long ways. Trump could better spend his money too.

So I pick the person I think will do the least amount of damage to this country and right now our country is doing just fine under Trump with a few exceptions.

I think bolsarno is stupid. I love plants and flowers. I recently bought over 300 fall flower bulbs so I can have spring flowers to feed the bees. I love pollinators. It's sad bolsarno is letting the rain Forrest burn down. Without it we have to rely on the tiger forest which extends from North Canada to Russia but the tiger Forrest only provides 33% of our planets oxygen. Bolsarno will never have my support.

I don't support Johnson ethier. I also don't support trump or any of his family running in 2024. I believe in 2 terms for a president.

I am hoping Candace Owens will run in 2024. Many Republicans are asking and wanting her to run and she is a very famous African American conservative who was a Democrat until after 2016.

Many African Americans have left the Democratic party and Trump looks to take over 20% of them this election. If Candace runs in 2024 she could take over 50% of the black vote.

The kkk is like less than 1% of my party and they are disappearing. It's time we bring the party back to the people who started it. African Americans.

ok thanks for the elaboration but I'll (re-)emphasize some things

1) Politicians are liars for sure, but Trump's system of self-exalting lies has a different quality, it almost feels as absurd as Hitler. He's doing the exact thing that he pathetically accuses the media of (which is just a part of his delusional propaganda).

2) If there could have been any doubt on Trump's racist supremacist and chauvinist ideologies, it is gone ever since his attacks on the female democrat delegates. Also knowing his opportunism I suppose he mainly supports Israel just for the sake of opposing Islam, I'm not sure how much he genuinely cares.

3) regarding economics, any protectonist "american first" policy will just backlash. This vabanque gamble poisons the international climate, and any short-term benefits do not justify his presidency when looking at the whole picture. The climate change denial is the worst thing of all, it will come with an even bigger prize than the "trade war"

4) Left-aligned always cause less harm than right-aligned (even on the extreme ends). Left means social equality and sustainability. Right means social inequality, capitalism and suppression of dissenters and "other-kind" people (there are no true other kinds, bruh).
Note: I do not really consider real-socialist dictatorships because they worked in fact the same as right dictatorships and had nothing to do with true left goals in the sense of Marx; and the Democrats have nothing to do with both real-socialism and Marx. Aren't the young democrats of these days comparable to the Greens in Germany?

5) Trump holds all "qualifications" to build up a suppressive right dictatorship if he could. We can at least thank the circumstances for keeping him away from that. He's not supportable by any values of rationality, humanity and religious values, no matter the few things in which he is right. Regarding the dem's opposition, 2020 will be better than 2016 and even in 2016 Trump was not "the lesser evil" as you portray him.

6) finally, aren't the Republicans to be blamed for Trump's success as well? Isn't it their responsibility as well to come up with a suitable candidate for conservatists and others? Your reasoning of "why people support Trump" being held against the democrats is a double standard.

I respect your response and thank you keeping it cival.

1. Yes Trump accuses the media of lying and then Trump lies. That is a good point.

2. The sqaud, the females Trump attacked were already at war with Nancy Pelosi and were upsetting democrats. Trump just added fuel to the fire by calling them out.

4. I have seen the left become very violent since the day Trump was elected. Not everyone on the left is violent. There is many descent people who align as democrats and I work with many of these people. The party itself though was a lot more peaceful until Hillary lost and Trump won. Yes there was violence from the right when Obama was potus but never at this level. I don't even remember the tea party being all that bad.

For everything else I disagree except for #6. Trump has a huge list of accomplishments, speaks his mind and is not a Democrat which is why he is popular among Republicans and others.

I will say I am responsible for electing Trump. I feel he could be a better person but I voted for him because of what he offered as a president.

Here is a list of his accomplishments up to march of 2019. It's a long read and you will be very surprised at how much he has accomplished.

https://710wor.iheart.com/featured/mark ... nts-so-far

Again this is a long read that will take at least half an hour and is decided into sections. I know there was a few accomplishments I never saw on here but still worth reading.

The city I live in is collapsing.
Everyday with constant anti-work and anti-school movement.
Things are heated up in the weekend, where tear gases were fired and there are riots and protests.
Police not only failed their job but also heard that they beat up random strangers and using multiple violence, rumour saying that they are cooperating with thugs and supporting the supposed said unreliable government.
Our people are rebelling against our nations, for preventing the government from taking away their freedom and being a dictator government.
National songs are rewritten to express how our people feel.
Graffiti even tells the country to F-off.
Even now there are ads published by Anti-CPC agents to inform people of said corrupted government.
Our country has made enemies with UK, USA, Canada, where they have empathy for our lack of democracy.
Not that I hate it, I would probably enjoy seeing our country crumble down to its rock bottom.
For such freedom and democracy that people are fighting for, the government, they still won't listen.
Is it really worth fighting for, on behalf of our future life?

That's their own intra-party dealings, so is that why Trump choose them for a pathetic racist attack? Also Trump's mind is at the level of 13-year-old me at best.

Shadowstar's statistics show quite the opposite? Or at least that right violence is still harsher than left? Why did we not hear of any left-terrorist mass shootings but of multiples from the right? Hate criminality increased strongly since his election and that's directly due to his chauvinism and aggressive politics [quoted from german Wikipedia]

Especially after reading said Wikipedia I sum up all of his offerings as "wants to build a wall and provoked a long shutdown over it, wanted to ban muslims, is a populist, makes quarrels with the judiciary, cooperates with NRA, terrorizes his entourage, screws efforts for climate protection, made loud noise with Kim just to meet him later and staging himself as peacemaker, destroyed nuclear deal with Iran [all other nations want to keep it and I have no idea what Iran did wrong], and confounds international relationships in general"

(yeah this was polemic again, Trump just won't stop grinding my gears)

There was mass shootings under Obama and mass shooters of every color so how do we really know how many of them lean Democrat or Republican?

The El Paso shooter supported Trump while the Ohio shooter backed Elizabeth Warren or so everyone says but I don't understand where people get this info from besides facebook?

Facebook is not a primary source. An article I found on the El Paso shooter uses the shooter's twitter account as a source for brainstorming potential motifs for targeting El Paso [1]. Information on the Ohio shooter similarly comes from their tweets [2]. If you read about something on facebook, chances are it's already gone through a game of telephone, painting the message with the interpretations of the people reciting it. It's always a good idea to track it back to the source, and check the source's validity.

That said, focusing on the political party shooters hate the least isn't really the way to go, since humans aren't inherently driven by malice. There are many factors contributing to the US's problem of gun violence, most prominently you'll find stuff like "easy access to firearms", "trigger-happy behaviour while in a state of emotional distress" [3][4][5]. The latter is particularly interesting, because it points at other systemic problems in the social and personal environments of the shooters [6]. From general isolationist tendencies through the rise of the internet, general unhappiness with the status quo, through **serious issues within their own childhoods**, there are a lot of contributing factors to what might lead someone to snap and cause violence. Whether they lean democrat or republican is irrelevant, because the problem isn't the shooter's ideology but the underlying circumstances that drive people to violence, which are not a partisan issue.
