I'm bored

Review of Line Detonation

I think the gameplay in this level is pretty decent at best. The variety of activating switch blocks are done decently, most of it was just simplistic, reaching by jumping on the emeny or hit with a shell or just unblock the path. Using the switch blocks to unblock the way for spark was something into effort.

Some spots I didn't like:
1) The place between piranha plant and horizantly moving thwomp. For the first time playing, I almost got a hit by it when I had to jump over moving thwomp because I didn't expect it coming. I think that either piranha plant or thwomp should be removed because it is very easy to get a hit when you have almost no time to react when the thwomp appears and you easily get a hit by plant.
2) The place where the 3-up moon is. the switch block should be hidden, otherwise getting the reward is just a piece of cake. Even with that, the reward is too much for doing something that is not hard.

Boss battle
The boss was done okay. I liked the setup variety, like attaching layers and the ways to hit the boss but the gameplay itself wasn't so challenging, avoiding emenies is very easy. The only part that I really dislike is the switch block part. At first, I didn't understand the arrows and I died by realizing that they show the spots I had to stand. Then I had to jump on the other switching blocks, which I can skip like this:

Creativity
Some effort was put well, especally on boss battle, but there's nothing impressive in general. Would be cool if tiles appear themselves instead of pressing the switch.

Aesthetics
I like some Super Paper Mario atmosphere and the way you use custom graphics in this level, but I think it was too much of black and white. my advice is make some background objects colour-wised like arrows.

Overall
It's a decent level that it takes few days to spend some effort to make it look average. 5.5/10

The level was pretty enjoyable, there's variety of setups with the TNT and Nitro blocks, the aesthetics looked great and everything was very creatively done. Nice job!

I wish I had a better computer for 2.0 (yes 2.0 still has like very common lag breaks, normal and then speeeeed up and normal and lag and death. ._.)

Put that aside it looks great. I just can't play it :(

I like your levels, because it looks like you put a lot of effort into details and aesthetics as well as level design. However, it looks slightly bland on the stronghold level, but I don't feel it's that big of a deal anyway. Great job with these.
