I didn't know exactly where to put this, but it seems like it should probably have its own topic.
Anyways,
Twitch Plays Pokémon is a "social experiment" created by some Australian guy in which everybody plays a single game of Pokémon at once. Basically, anyone can type a button command into the Twitch.tv chat and it will be executed in the game about 30 seconds later. As you can imagine, it's pretty hectic.
Surprisingly, people have managed to complete three Pokémon games already, namely Red, Crystal, and Emerald. The channel is currently streaming FireRed, in which three badges have been collected from what I can tell.
A fountain of memes has sprung forth from all of this, of course. HAIL THE HELIX FOSSIL!
So, what do people think about all this?
