I've seen that many people who post in this forum don't provide enough material for the people who are willing to fulfill these requests. This is something which makes me lose interest in making the graphics they want.
Often I see people asking the author of the topic "What should it replace?", "In which style should it be?" or "Could you give some spritesheets?", which only holds them back from fulfilling the request which should urgently be fulfilled.
I hope most of you know where I'm going with this.
Basically, everyone who wants to request something: Provide specific and understandable information of what you need.
As much as possible. If you have a spritesheet, post it! If it has a lot of frames, it'd be helpful if you circle the frames you need and give information about which should replace which frame on the final graphic. One of you wrote:But Emral... What information should I give?
Example
A picture from the game would've been enough to work with.
If you are requesting a spritesheet, t'd be faster to just go to this website, for example, and look for spritesheets yourself instead of bothering other people who will end up doing exactly that for you. I saw someone requesting Savannah backgrounds. Swoop! Just went to the site and searched for the word "Savannah": http://www.spriters-resource.com/search/?q=Savannah
Example
I talked about this in the paragraph.
If you're requesting specific graphics which have already been made, and you know who made them, it's safe to send a PM to the person who made them. If you don't know who made these graphics, they're your graphics or the person who made them confirmed that he/she doesn't have them anymore, say which one you need and we'll see what we can do.
Example
He does it right. I couldn't find a bad example. Shame on me.
So yeah. The point is: It's the graphic you need. People can't make it for you if they don't know how it should turn out. Please change that.
