So, should I consider this a joke boss fight or something? because is literally nothing more than a regular SMB3 Bowser fight

Is because we already are used to the SMB3 Bowser, fighting him is very easy

this sounds Mayro galaxy but its opposite day.
talking about smb3 bowsers, I would have used the option for placing a spawner in bowser to cause it to summon a projectile of some sort (1.4.4).

The hardest SMB3 Bowser fight would be one where the player gets no power-ups, no throwable npcs & no breakable breaks underneath. Try winning that fight.
Or even better (and actually possible), make the player fight both SMB1 & SMB3 Bowsers at the same time!
