April 15th, 2014 Blood Moon

So what does everyone think of the coming Blood Moon? Anybody going sky-gazing tonight? Preparing for the Judeo-Christian apocalypse, or the midnight magic age?

I honestly think there isn't much to worry about and the only Blood Moon you should worry about is in Terraria hah, but I will be watching the show, that's for sure!

I'm in the Philippines, so I can only see the Moon exiting the penumbra.

It's too CLOUDY for me. I can't even see the moon exiting the penumbra, and I'm already sleeping when the phenomenon was there. :/

Quite the beauty, the moon was. Part of the time I put dirt blocks in front of my door to avoid possible clowns.

I've got a hidden underground bunker so I didn't have to worry about the clowns. Sadly, many people died to other threads though.

I think I got like 5 hours left until I can see the event. Given that it won't be too cloudy.

Well I stayed up till 6 and all i saw was an eclipse, no blood moon, by 4AM it was a perfect full moon.

Not to be rude, but duhh, the blood moon doesn't come out until night, and sunlight doesn't shine at night. =P

I frankly never really care or cared about the moon phases or anything about it, despite the full moon I guess. It's quite fascinating.

It was partially cloudy here, I saw it at roughly 3:00 AM, it wasn't really that impressive to be honest, it didn't have the red tint I was expecting, it was just a normal eclipse.

This year it's October 8th, and the next two are April 4th 2015 and September 28th 2015.
