So... uhh... yeah... this has nothing to do with the discussion above.

I've heard the dragon weakness as being because a dragon is the only thing that can rival another dragon or whatever, and the ice weakness is because dragons, as pseudo-reptiles, are cold-blooded and cannot survive in low temperatures.
So basically what your saying is dragons are metroids and if someone used a ice move on you, it would be super effective because your "Pseudo" Dino

Yeah. I considered saying "no pun intended" but I wasn't sure if anyone would notice or not, hehe.
Lol

srry I didn't mean to embarrass you if I did but I had to

Well, kind of, especially considering how relatively recent the Gen 5 games are, but it's not that big a deal. The Wi-Fi is much better in Pokémon X & Y anyways, and Pokémon Showdown is generally simpler for competitive multiplayer (and you can still play Gen 5 there).
@Fire Mario: Nah, no problem.

But the gen 4 wifi services were really cool. Especially the plaza.

Time moves on and Nintendo had to do this because of freeing up space for the new servers.

Oh yeah I agree that this was unavoidable and I don't blame Nintendo in the least. I still kind of miss the Gen 5 random online battles though. They were fun.

I never really used the Wi-Fi for pokemon that much, if anything it was just for trading

god i haven't played pokemon in forever. i'm not gonna lie i miss it.
i remember for my tenth birthday i got my first pokemon game, pokemon emerald (ironic isn't it? also i'm only 15 as of now keep this in mind). i played the shit outta that. i actually trained my sceptile up to like level 90-something before an autistic kid stole it from me and gave me a sapphire. from there i went on to buy and put at least 100 hours into diamond, pearl, platinum, and even soul silver and about 40-50 into leaf green. recently i bought black 2 (i believe) and I've only gotten about a quarter of the way through it before i lost interest due to my ds being a piece of crap. about 3 months ago i completed an emerald run and holy nostalgia it was amazing..i never knew i could catch the level 70 rayquaza before the elite 4
so yeah i love pokemon
