For those who don't know about the legendary anime/manga franchise, Mobile Suit Gundam (Japanese title: 機動戦士ガンダム) is 1 of the most popular anime/manga of the Mecha genre. And the franchise isn't just popular in animation and manga, but in the toy division too.

The legendary franchise started in 1979 (During the era where anime is mostly robot-based and super heroes). And since then, the popular franchise had many installments as the years went by.

So, what installment or more of the Mobile Suit Gundam anime is your favorite? Here's mine:

It's success is a similar story to that of StarWars. Gundam was a TV series aired on a local television channel back in the late 70s. It was not even produced for Tokyo, and it was considered for cancellation a few times on the planning stage and during airing. It’s rating was not particularly high when it did air.
