So Nintendo announced that they will be making a Mario Kart for phones that is realeasing before March 2019. What do you think there will be and how do you feel about this?

I doubt they will be able to make an actual Mario Kart game like MK8D. Perhaps an app like the Splatoon 2 one where you can set up tournaments, chat, etc.
Or maybe it will be a Mario Kart game. If it is, I wonder if it will be like Super Mario Kart (pixelated or a simple view?) or maybe Mario Kart 8 (Antigravity? Maybe.)
I doubt it will have the same graphical quality as Deluxe on Switch, and maybe it may even be a top-down racer game. Who knows?
Also I doubt it will be free, and I hate adding funds to my mobile device.

Does Nintendo really need to be making more mobile games? I don't mind it, but I would rather see this game on the Switch tbh.

Mario Kart 9 will likely still come out, it is not like it is going to be completely thrown out just because a mobile game is coming out.

I rather have Nintendo make a mobile game out of all the Mario RPGs sometime in the future!

Mario Kart Tour =/= Mario Kart 9
This is based on the face that Mario Kart Arcade GP were not classed as being in the main Mario Kart series, and it's likely this won't either.
Also I doubt the courses will be as complex as those in later games like Deluxe; there probably won't be anti-gravity or gliders, but who knows?

Oh, guess I lucked out by not signing up for the closed beta.

I like the idea of it and all, but I really don't like how the progression to unlock stuff will apparently be quite slow. I understand it's for phones and all... But still.
