Hi everyone, and welcome to my amazing new Contest! I am new here and I wanted to talk to the public some time and that's why I made this post. 2018 is here and no Contests are made, so this will be the very first Contest that has been posted so far... Now, let's get to the announcements rules...

ANNOUNCEMENTS
I've now got a new rank, and its Koopa Troopa, and I have 20 posts...
Congratulations to Squishy Rex for his 23rd Birthday! (and that was two days ago)

Anyways, let's just go to the rules...

RULES
*You may only post one level.
*You are only allowed to post in the Submission Period.
*Do not send SendSpace links, as this is not allowed, but Mediafire, Mega, Dropbox, etc. links will be fine.
*Please do not put exits no other than the SMB3 Star, as this is not allowed.
*Please do NOT post Mature Content (18+), as this is not allowed and violates the Forum Rules.
*Please do NOT post Foul language, Swearings, Sexual Harassment comments, etc. , as this ALSO violates the Rules.
*Please include any GFX by including the level and GFX in a single file.
*Please also include a LunaLua.dll in the folder supplied with your level and GFX as well.
*Please do NOT post comment that do not relate to this topic.

NOTE: Deadine will be 21 February 2018.
Anyone who post their levels 5 or more days after the Deadline will be disqualified for 2 days.

JUDGES
not found yet...

OTHER INFORMATION
Please have a good attitude, not harassing one another, as this is my 1st post.
Anyone who violates the rules will be banned.
(if I ask the Moderators/Administrators to do it...)

Have fun :D

This doesn't seem any different from the previous contest, except for the addition of the LunaLua.dll rule (Which I don't think exists, pretty sure it's either LunaDLL.lua or Luna.lua, and it's also kinda confusing because it seems to imply that you have to use LunaLua for your level which doesn't seem to be hinted at anywhere) and the omission of the "No levels with lack of NPCs and scenery" rule. Also, again, how can you get disqualified for a set number of days in a level contest?

I thought you cancelled this contest?
Anyway, what version of SMBX do you need us to use for this?

"Anyone who post their levels 5 or more days after the Deadline will be disqualified for 2 days."
Still don't get it. Also you shouldn't include forum rules here considering that it is common sense to follow them

Nearly Everyone in the SMBX forum (i.e. Sanct) set a number of days of disqualification. I think that's normal to everyone...

Could you please give me a quote? I don't remember any other level contest with a "If you submit after the deadline you get disqualified for x days" rule.

Damn, I only have 2.0 and 1.3.0.1 won't play 2.0 levels. Guess I won't be joining this. Looking forward to seeing what levels people could make though!

"You are allowed to submit only one level. You may update your submission during the submission period. The latest submission will be judged. Submitting two levels and expecting both to be judged will lead to disqualification."
As far as I can tell this is the only rule that mentions disqualification and there's no set number of days. Also having a set number of days wouldn't work anyway for various reasons I don't have time to explain here so I'll just leave it at that.

I do understand your point... And I'll just leave it like it is from now on, just in case :P

I’m pretty sure this is going to get locked. Before it does, I just want to let you know that Contests on this site usually don’t go that far if they don’t have a theme. Image

You can't just expect people to get their levels ready in a matter of hours, ya' know.
