Title's kind of self explanatory.
...anyway, pictures, anyone?
(Apologies for clipping them short as opposed to full-window, I wanted them to be the focus as opposed to what else was there because it was a bland level)

Powerups left-right: Heart Container, SMW Fire Flower, SMW Ice Flower, Hammer Suit, Tanooki Suit, Fairy Pendant

Statue

Hammer Suit projectile (Aura Sphere)

Fairy + Rupee replacements
Credit where credit is due:
Whoever ripped these sprites, as well as the original artist
Me for compiling them this way
MINOR EDIT: forgot to give credit to Wohlstand (and whoever else) made the PGE calibrator; it helped immensely
...no credit needs to be given, but would be appreciated if you used these sprites.

Please give constructive criticism, this is my first (released) character set
By the way pokemon fans don't kill me for misusing item sprites (if I did), I don't play the games too often

These are some pretty cool sprites and a useful playable for those who want to make a Pokemon episode, and the fact that this is your first post and you already know how to make playables is what makes this cooler.

Holy crap this is good! I just realized that when Link uses mushrooms he didn't grow. So i think Lucario can't be mega, huh? But anyways, i liked it. I'm gonna try some levels with this.

Nice compilation, good quality sprites overall, but some gems can benefit from some detail changes, the first two mainly.
See ya!

Okay, my experience of this when playing as Lucario over Link is kinda messed up. All of the things are broken except for Lucario itself. But the problem for Lucario itself is, you messed up the hitbox. So, how can i fix this?

It appears that there are .inis used to configure it. Are you using SMBX2? And if so did you copy the .ini files over too?

I apparently did. So, do i have to fix something in the .inis or just straight up not copy it?

I'll try it later. And you are using SMBX2?

Yeah. I'm in 2.0 testing the costumes by playing Mario Challenges.

These look really really nice. I'm not much of a fan of pokemon but these are pretty good.
P.S: Nice to see you back, 1AmPlayer. It's been a while!

Thanks, @The_Loaf_Lord.
Also, maybe the problem with items being graphically (not physically) broken is because you just put gfxheight and gfxwidth, not with width and height itself. The offset is, kinda broken. And for some reason, Lucario is 40x58. which set at 40 is width and 58 is height. Again, breaking the hitboxes, even though its size is 38x58. So, the height of Lucario is right, but not the width.

I can't even get Lucario to show up at all. It's just...blank. And the coins are all messed up, too--both with and without the .ini files.
Actually, I think I know what's wrong: you're missing the mask sheets. They should have names like link-1m.gif, link-2m.gif, etc. Also, you have your sprites as .png files. That may be another reason why they're not working. Please correct me if I'm wrong.

.png files will work with SMBX2, but not with 1.3, which I assume is what you're trying to use. I don't know if the .ini files are also SMBX2 exclusive, but you still need SMBX2 for the playable to work.

Actually, no. I'm using SMBX2. But the Lucario file won't work.
EDIT: I was able to recalibrate 8lue Storm's Birdo character to work without issue (besides looking like she's standing IN the ground

), and she's in GIF/mask format, so maybe that's what's needed to make Lucario work. I can't get LunaDLL files to work, but I can get GIF-based characters to work just fine. For most problems...there is usually a workaround (but the problems like to try to hide it from you).
The error message I mentioned above says: "Using GDI renderer, so some advanced LunaDLL effects may not be present in some levels. Could not use OpenGL renderer because: Couldn't create initial GL context"
So...there's that.
