Hello there people! This is my first project so far, Newer Super Mario Bros. 1!
As the title says, it's a project that reminds of SMB1.
RELEASE DATES:
• First DEMO: ALREADY RELEASED! DOWNLOAD BELOW!
• Complete EPISODE: It will probably release during the summer (August is more likely to be)
FEATURES:
-Mario & Luigi playables.
-Every world has 4 levels (except World X) like SMB1.
-You CAN'T go back inside a level.
-Only SMB3 colors are used (they are more appealing in my opinion)
-Custom Music! (Except in the Wolrd Map)
-There are 3 star coins in each level, if you collect them, you'll gain a 1-UP.
-I have planned to make 10 worlds, 8 normals and 2 specials, with a total of 46 levels.
-There are different sections in some worlds, for example,world 2 includes Tanooki Forest and Dry-Dry Desert.
-Tanooki Leaf is back! But Hammer suit and Tanooki Suit don't appear this time.
-NOTE: When you get a Tanooki Leaf, you'll transform in Tanooki Mario/Luigi , but you can't turn into stone.

I'd like to note that Tanooki Mario is in the ground!
Also why do the levels have CUSTOM music but the maps have DEFAULR music? :s

Yeah, but that tanooki Mario is replacing racoon Mario, is like when you get a tanooki leaf in Super Mario 3D Land, you have the tanooki suit but you can't turn into stone.
About the music in the world map, I don't want to change it because I would have to replace the music in the default folder.

Hey, I can see a very good level design and a very well done work! Congratulations!
But, unfortunately I see an smally error, in my opinion, the level-path, in the world map, sound a sort of watery-level, behave, a level of water and of sea. I think you ahve a good npc placament, and I really love the caste screen, that with the Bowser's statues, it's simply perfect! I'm not kidding you! I advice you to uprise the platform mushroom in the penultimate screenshot.
Now I've a quest: the bossess are koopalings, ora are casual bossess? Or are koopalings 'n' casual bossess ?

The boss in every castle is Bowser, like SMB1, but the difficult increases in each castle. And the boss of World X will be different, but I don't know what it will be yet :/

Wow this looks great! Also, do I see my Starcoin graphic? I didn't think anyone would use it!
That desert level looks absolutely amazing by the way. I would definitely redownload SMBX just to play this.

Whoa a release date of the game?! I don't see many projects with a release date. How if something happens during the development? Well, well your project. But I gotta say it looks pretty impressive. I really like screen 7 and the world map. Is it based on the NSMB games? And I'm wondering how you made the levels red and blue? Will it also bf black like it was in those games. Sorry for all those questions. I'm just very curios.

-It's based in SMB1, as there are only 4 levels per world and you can't go back in levels.
-About the red and blue levels I've changed them a bit but the black circles will stay :3

Yep, making that level took me more time than the other ones, though I don't like desert levels at all lol

Why what's this, if it isn't my SMB3 styled SMW castle signs, and I'm not credited for it.
JK, I really don't need them honestly. This project looks really nice, and really fresh, I like the graphics in the World Map. But of course, if there's something I like even more are the levels, they look really bright and fun, something that I don't see very often, or mostly don't feel more often, won't criticise other people's levels because of what I personally feel.
I think though, that you should darken the very first level screenshot's sizeable. It is intended to be a sort of underground pass right there, am I right? If that's the case darkening the sizeable would make it look nicer in my opinion, trust me, tried it and worked for me every time.
