Heeeeeeeeeeey!
I got into making recolor GFX because some things that I bury would make more sense as a different color, like a coin, or maybe a boomerang, or something.
Anyways, these are two vegetable leaf recolors that I made.

This one is most likely for a darker vegetable, like spinach! Image
Here is one that is a remake of an Atari 2600 game graphic! Image

Tell me what you guys think of these, and maybe I will make some more! :D :D :D

Honestly these recolours are poorly done. Not only are the palettes awful (too much contrast between some colours and not enough between others), but you used MS Paint so the graphics saved incorrectly and appear all grainy

Paint.NET won't teach color theory. It's only helpful in the context of having a global fill tool at this stage.

I like the first one. I've seen similar graphics in dark forest levels in the past. Pretty standard. I like the highlights.
The second one in comparison looks pretty eye-searing. It's also really hard to distinguish the two colours. I recommend cutting it to one colour or using a darker secondary colour for the edges.

my personnal guess is that he was talking about the 1x1 pixel corruption that appears after reading a GIF file on MS paint

WELL, at least I got feedback, I will try again on some more and use paint.net instead.
