Super Mario Star Hunt

Hello everybody, this is my first Episode, called Super Mario Star Hunt!! Okay there's no logo yet.

Story

Bowser again kidnapped Princess Peach, like as he always do... but this time, to make sure Mario or Luigi won't stop him, he found an ultimate weapon!

Main purpose

The main purpose of the game is to collect as many as all the Stars in the game. If you don't collect them, you won't go ahead.

Gameplay
There are going to be 9 worlds. They are going to be unnamed, and there are 4 levels per World.

You will need to collect an amount of Stars given to unlock the next world. Will you find them all?

I will post updates as soon as I can, and I'll also see if I can manage time to work on my Episode because you know, life is busy...

Looks a little blocky and generic, giving the world and levels interesting structure goes a long way in player interest

You just have to improve the story and it would be perfect. :D

Most of the good SMBX episodes have very little story. Personally I think it's the least important thing; if you don't have good level design a story isn't going to save bad gameplay

You're right ;) Something similar to boss rush or compilations of levels. They do not have history but they have good playability :D , well some if others do not.

I'm glad people say this isn't the worst Episode at all. Also, I finished World 1. I'll work on World 2, and I'll try and manage time to work on it because...

I think you should use an actula image uploading site instead of trying to embed Discord attachments.

The first world map screen shows a widely spread flaw. Angular path corners instead of curved ones (why do angular ones even exist), completely rectangular isle, and very unnaturally-looking tree placement in clusters instead of a few random trees.

The Episode made pls in 2.0 are infinite graphics

Hmm... you mean the first world map is bland? Yah I got it. But remember a thing, this Episode was made when I was 7, which mean OF COURSE it was bland.
I'm editing things, ya know? Well, Ok. I'll fix the first world map.

Just to tell you all, the project is NOT dead. The reason why I haven't posted an update for too long is because actually I still try and fix things, though. Also, I can't finish the Episode in time... but just remember that the project IS NOT DEAD.

Not bad Jean I think you can be a good level designer, just don't give up and don't rush the levels. Make sure everything is alright. Good luck. :D
