How does one animate scenery for the world map?

The title kind of says it all.
I've tried using UnFREEz (I made an animated gif, but it wasnt animated in the world editor, as it only took the form of the first frame), I have also extended the perimeters of my .gif image (and the mask)e from a 32x32 to a 32x128, stacking the 4 32x32 frames of the gif on top of one another (just as you can see the other animated scenery is in the scenery file). I probably will make a second post regarding how to test a world map later.

If it's any help, I'm using SMBX beta 3

SMBX doesn't use animated .gifs. You just make a .gif with the number of frames you want all in the image. For example, if you have a graphic with four frames, each 32x32, you'd make a .gif of size 32x128 and just place all of the frames vertically. You can look in data/graphics to see how this works if you're still confused. It seemed like you knew what you were doing though by your post. When replacing sceneries though on the world map, at this point you can only use as many frames as the original graphic has.

In terms of testing world maps, you have to place it in your worlds folder and run it as an episode or test it through PGE, however this engine is still in alpha and is not fully functional
