1) How do I properly use the warp-between-levels feature? When playing the level it just leads to insta-death.
2) My episode's name doesn't show up at the episode select screen. It's clickable and works, but it appears blank for some reason.
3) I have a boss fight set up. How do I set a 'reward item' for beating it that rolls the credits - like, it appears after defeating all four bosses in the room (I had four of them for more challenge), also making the Poison Mushrooms stop generating (yeah, this is one heck of a boss battle), and then the screen goes black and the credits roll (or however that works)?

1) Make sure you set a warp in the other level that the player comes out of when entering, or have a start point in that level
2) You have to name it in the settings, or you use PGE/2.0 editor and name it when saving
3) Use the game end in events

OK, I got the pipe thing done.
What settings do I name the episode from? I don't see a settings menu for that...
I also don't see a game end event. Also, I want the item to appear after and only after all four bosses in the room are beaten, and I'd like it to deactivate generators when collected.
Explain like I'm five please?

if you use the legacy editor: there's a Settings button at the bottom (come on :p)
if you already use PGE (which you should use in the long-term run): there's also a small wheel button icon in the icon bar (the second from the right).

One more thing: Roto-discs. Why don't they move in a circle when I place them?
Either I'm a complete idiot or something's very wrong. My episode name still doesn't show on the title screen. Also, to clarify, I'm referring to the whole episode, not one level or world.
I don't have the event window shown on the page you linked... just a small one with three preset events. No "new event" button or anything.
Please just explain every step that I need to do for my event as simply as possible without leaving anything out, no matter how "basic" it is to you, because I'm very new at this. Also I still need help with the Roto-Discs and episode name, and explain those the same way - simply and with no information left out no matter how basic.

First, please confirm if / that you're using the editor of 1.3.0.1 (known as the legacy editor), and please screencap your settings so we know what you're doing. And you should read the first-time users thread exactly because you're a first-time user. There's also good tutorials on Youtube, I gained my basic knowledge through one of them.

These fields are not supposed to be typed. You define custom events and layers and then you put events from the drop-down menu. Layers and events are found under "Views" in the menu bar (which, to be honest, is not obvious and not mentioned in the first-time users thread).

Step by step, how do I make the game-end NPC/item only spawn when all four Boom Booms in the room are defeated?

The procedure for a multi-phase boss fight is quite not far to seek. Every boss has its own layer, and killing one boss makes the next layer appear, and the last boss triggers the level ending (which is also done from the Events Window). (However I'm curious as to why you want a 4-boom-boom battle to end the game. If this is just a standalone level, then using it is quite pointless).
Have a screenshot:
And please try to drop the "step-by-step" attitude a bit. Everyone needs to go through tutorials to figure things out and teach them to themselves.

The level is... well, it's a very long vertical level, meant to be like a tower or skyscraper of sorts. The boss battle is supposed to be in a room near the top of the tower. Also, I'd like all four Boom Booms present at once for more challenge, rather than one at a time, though I could scale it down to two (four might be a bit much).

So, you're saying it's a standalone level, not part of an episode? If so, then there's no point with using the game ending sequence as I said. Just put a normal exit and the player is sent back to the editor.

I realize that, but I'd like it to be playable on its own straight from the title screen; I'm planning on sharing it with some acquaintances (I'm allowed to do that right? Like put it on Dropbox?). Also, the boss battle portion is technically a separate level (I wanted a different background and whatnot for it). Finally, I also made a world map (it's small, but I still want to include it).

Btw, people will rarely play single levels through the world map and they're meant to be run directly through the editor, which is one reason why that exists. Also I would not recommend putting four Boom Booms in the same area; that's a very poor way to add difficulty. And yes, you can share your levels and post them on the Levels forum for others to play

@PixelPest
I changed it to two Boom Booms; much more manageable. Also, I wasn't referring to posting it on the levels forum. I was referring to putting the folder on a proper sharing site like Dropbox and giving a select few acquaintances the link so they could play it. Same logic for the world map and episode idea - I'm not going to be putting it out there for anyone to play; I'm going to be sending it to a few people who wouldn't mind that kind of thing.
I still need a step-by-step of the ending event, how to give an episode name, and how to use the Roto-Disc obstacle.

As long as you're testing through LunaTester (F5) and not THE Alpha roto-discs should work fine

So... I still need to know how to name the episode and set the ending events. And I don't care if some people don't do those for a single level - my level is like three or four levels worth of stuff, and it's not easy in the slightest.

What a great way to ask for help. Yelling and cursing definitely makes people inclined to spend their free time explaining things to you.
