what forum editor was used to make SMBX forum?

I knew it was ProBoards! I also use it. Question 2, so he used a custom domain, but how did he make all this good stuff and how did he make more tab like thingys

This is incorrect; the SMBX forums use phpBB, not ProBoards. ProBoards is a free forum hosting service, not a specific software, while phpBB is open-source software that anyone can use to run a forum if they have their own server. ProphpBB, the home of the historical Knuxforums and NSMBX, is a service similar to ProBoards that uses the phpBB software for forums hosted on it.

To clarify, though: the SMBX forums are not run using a forum hosting service such as these, rather, Joey has the phpBB software installed on his own server (forum hosting services do this for you, at the cost of a lot of customizability).

for me SMBX looks like it was made by ProBoards
