Role Descriptions
Godfather: No special abilities, cardflips green.
Big Boss: Immune to night kills.
Consort: Can block one player's ability each night. The target will be notified if it's successful.
Blackmailer: Can intimidate one player each night. Intimidated players cannot say anything on the following day phase except "I was intimidated". Intimidation wears off the next night.
Consigliere: Can inspect one player each night to learn their cardflip color.
Thug: Twice throughout the whole game, can beat up one player during the night to paint them black. Paintings wear off the next night.
Sheriff: Can inspect one player each night to learn their cardflip color.
Investigator: Can investigate one player each night to learn two possible roles they could be, taken from the "Investigator Results" section below.
Doctor: Can protect one player each night to prevent them from being night killed.
Lookout: Can spy on one player each night to learn who visited them.
Bodyguard: Can stand guard outside of one player's house each night. If someone tries to kill that player, the Bodyguard will take the hit and take the attacker down with them as well, ignoring any protection on them.
Vigilante: Can kill one player each night.
Prostitute: Can block one player's ability each night. The target will be notified if it's successful.
Priest: Can bless one player each night to prevent non-town, non-killing abilities from working on them.
The Rogue: Survives one night kill. Steals victory from the other teams if he survives to the end of the game.
Witch: Survives one night kill. Can use witchcraft to control one player's visitation each night (causing them to visit another specific player) as well as learn their exact role. This works even if the target doesn't normally visit other players. She will "steal" inspection results from investigative roles. The target will be notified, but will not know who they were made to visit. Cardflips green only when inspected. Immune to roleblocks. Wins by being the last player standing.

- Roles are chosen from the two available by players assigned to the role slots with multiple options during a setup phase prior to the actual start of the game. The members of the mafia are given contact with each other at the start of the setup phase and can coordinate their role picks.
- The mafia's nightly kills cannot be roleblocked.
- If the Big Boss is roleblocked, he will not be immune on that night.
- Mafia kills are carried out by the lowest-ranked living mafioso for the purposes of visitation.
- The Witch can control the mafia's kills by controlling the lowest-ranked living mafioso.
- If a nightkill is prevented for any reason (besides roleblocking), it will be noted than an attempt was made on the saved player's life.
- No role is normally allowed to visit itself, but the Witch can force someone to do so.
- All power usage is
optional,
but players should PM the host if they're not using their abilities.
