I used to love this platform, it was a great way to stay up to date with politics and news, and it had a lot of really funny videos. Hell, game grumps alone made it more then worth checking out. Then Felix (pew die pie) spoke out against the media and wsj successfully removed advertisers killing profit for everyone. What does good ole YouTube do? They begin censoring everyone they don't like.

YouTube is dying, and who's to blame? Felix for standing up against the media, the media for destroying profit, or YouTube for not handling the situation properly. What do we do now, if you're even slightly right wing the platform is useless when it comes to politics, and if you're a comedian you have to somehow not piss off any individual person. How can we get people to switch platforms, and what platform do we switch to?

That's why I never bother watching any of Pewdiepie's recent YouTube videos. And I rather make my videos old school style!

We can try to move to another platform but 80% percent of the people on youtube i'd say don't know that the site's dying and are still staying on there.

Not yet. But it's about to because of Google's focus on censoring free speech and using YT to compete with TV.

It's not dying it's just different as of what we used to see and such. I still use it for fun and that is what it matters. Everything else is either just funny to me or questionable but oh well. Fun times!

Youtube isn't dying, but it's getting gradually worse and people are sick of it. I'm thinking about using another website to host video content (if that ever exists lol), even if it wouldn't get as much attention.

Did Youtube JUST get a new layout today or yesterday? It really sucks

I don't see yet for myself how YT is dying or losing popularity, but they'll surely plummet to downfall if they keep on like that and if alternatives rise up.

You can at least go back to the old YouTube layout when you go to your picture at the top right and hit the bottom of the options you have.

I tried to go back to old style as bossy described, but it wouldn't even let me, the style is still the same and the menu is gone completely

Really the only reason the new layout is bad is because it runs slowly.

It also looks like an eyesore, and this is by far not only my opinion

youtube has never not been an eyesore though
