apparently I don't think it is

I'd rather prefer the dissector to start an alliance the normal way, at the start of Day 1 or upon doctor protection. The graverobber should have the chance to assume the role of a more important blue who may die tonight or Night 2 (which means that the plan isn't even sufficiently foolproof, if one of the blues dies night 1).

While it is quite true, the chance of a special being targeted tonight is pretty low, then again, this is SMBX mafia, night 1 kills for some reason are always blues.

No, like seriously, in the first mafia game played on this forum, the doctor was killed night 1.

And in the first game i played on here, the sheriff was killed night 1.

^ even if there's no blue death tonight, I'm saying that it's too costful and a classic alliance forming via dissector should be considered more.

But the Dissector is actually a pretty valuable role to have around, so i don't see the point in sacrificing it.

it's better for finding out if an orange died if their the Mantis or Mad Scientist.

What are you going on about, there is no third party.

Maybe your the Wasp and in that case the vigilante should kill him.

The dissector is not bad, but he also gives information that essentially benefits one of the mafia or both. And as long as the doctor lives, there's also a way to keep them alive.

However if you went with the lynching plan, you'd have to sacrifice the dissector too, and then rely on the graverobber to stay alive while the mafias already know the role he's taken.

Sacrificing a blue in the early game really does not seem like a good plan to me, even if it does end up with us having a semi-confirmed alliance.

To clarify: this game doesn't really have any expendable blues, and I think that setting something like this up is going to lose us more players in the long run.

(don't consider the above post to be relevant at all, anyone)

Alright, before someone takes shroom serious. (He told you not to)I am not mafia. I was just trying to set up a blue alliance early so we can get this game going. But I guess a normal alliance tactic using the dissector can work just as well. Also, should someone decide to claim I want to say that they Shouldn't do it during the night! Nightly blue claims always land you a faction kill to the brain because the mafia can immediately kill.

I only just read pseudo's message. It might indeed be smarter not to sacrifice any blues. There are only four of them.
