Don't mix Undertale with Mario
Pacifist runs are actually possible, but you have to beat the bosses (they don't die anyway)
Pacifist runs are impossible because of the bosses and enemy challenges.
But that does not happen in every game anyway, so it's still possible... like in SMB1, you can easily evade the other castles, don't kill any enemy and just kill the final Bowser

I wish more games had model viewers and sound tests.

Pacifist runs are typically defined as avoiding combat with any non-required enemies. Very few games with combat allow fights to be evaded altogether, Undertale's definitely an outlier in that regard

That Capcom will start producing Classic Mega Man games again.
That Mario games have more memorable bosses that die in more than three hits and...
That Nintendo please explains what on Earth the point of these are and why they are there:

I mean seriously, when can we get a level where we get to interact with these strange hills?

The "three hits tradition" is what made the Super Mario Sunshine final boss shitty

That's one reason why I want this whole tradition to change.

Honestly the 3D Mario games shouldn't have that tradition, that's why I don't like the final bosses from Sunshine and Galaxy 1 and 2 (at least 3D Land broke that tradition with the final boss but then it came back again)

The thing is, the classic platformers that have utilized this tradition can be forgiven, as often times bosses weren't the main focus anyway and the difficulty of some platforming in the fights make up for it. (Like Ludwig's 2nd fight in New Super Mario Bros. Wii) but, yes, the 3D games should at least give the bosses a new aspect of difficulty or a more appropriate and quicker fighting style. The reason that platforming doesn't assist the boss very much in the 3D games is because of the z-axis.

That's the third dimension. In a 2D game, forward and backwards is called the x-axis and up and down is the y-axis. In 3D games you can also go to the side. This third dimension is known as the z-axis.

But why does that affect the bosses?

I always thought the 2D games only had X and Z since Z is altitude.
X - Left Right
Y - Up Down
Z - Forward Backwards
I would like a Pokémon game that goes to all eight regions (Orange Islands included.)

If that happens I think it'll be in a too away future, when a console that can run all of these regions is out

Because with 2D games you were restricted in going one direction. Think of the Ludwig example. It was stressful as you could only go forward and backwards to avoid him, and this meant it was harder to dodge his magic because you couldn't run past it. If the same boss was put into a 3D game, it would be a lot easier as you no longer need to jump to avoid his magic, because of the third dimension, you can just easily walk around this magic and dodge it like that, eliminating any form of pressure. A boss that utilized the third dimension would fit better as they cover every area of the battlefield.

I guess they aren't used to make the 3D bosses hard (or they don't know how to make them hard)
