High Stakes Savannah (1.4.4)

Postby potato_lord_44 » Fri Aug 04, 2017 11:06 pm

Hello, and welcome to the first level I've ever posted.

This level is built around propeller mushrooms, but is possible (but a bit more difficult) without one.

As your first posted level, it's decent. However, I have noticed the boomerang brother immediatly falls when spawning. It's like if you never tested the level.
Like arcade999 stated, the pyramid background isn't very fitting with the green ground.

Honestly, I won't judge the level length and difficulty since it's probably what you aimed for but the design felt messy.
Too much power-ups in the same area and bland enemy placement.

The real issue is the helicopter mushroom itself. With it, you can literally skip the entire level and without it, the level still remains a piece of cake. The hidden helicopter at the end wasn't very necessary. It looks like you didn't design the level around the helicopter mushroom in mind even if you claim to.
Really, if the level was built more about the power-up it could be less bland.

Otherwise, I liked the use of graphics. The wood holder and rock platforms fit the savanna theme.
