Mario Huge Adventure DEMO 1.2

Hello everyone, I would like to introduce myself first, I am Jonathan, I am twenty years old and I am Brazilian, I decided to register here because SMBX in Brazil is "dead".
The game is focused more on gameplay than on a story, so I did not a lore, it has a clear inspiration in Crash Bandicoot and I've tried to do something similar in the past, but I gave up.
The name of the old EP was "SMB Adventure" and it had an exaggerated number of , so I gave up the project and moved away from SMBX for a long time. I recently missed SMBX, so I decided to go back with the project, but I have considerably reduced the number of layers so that I could finish the EP without running the risk of giving up.

DEMO 1.2 Prediction Updates

- Star Coins scorer that shows which ones you collected on the stage and how many were missing.
-Substitution of Red Coins for SMB2 Coins with the coat of a star:

[Note: Although the audio expansion version is heavier, I recommend it, because the songs, although they do not affect the gameplay, provide a more pleasant experience, as well as harmonize better with the environments of the levels.]

Format of the EP:

*Each room has five , with the exception of the final room that has seven.
*Every level has three to four stars, the mechanics to get them are just like Crash Bandicoot, Imagine the stars as being the Gems, Crystals of Power and Relics of the Crash Bandicoot franchise.
*In addition to the five per room, it is possible to find a secret entry per room within the own , thus entering secret , being a total of five secret in the whole game.
Basically this is the plot:

Bowser kidnapped Peach and Luigi and fled to the Void, the Land of the Lost Stars, in addition, he broke the Star of the Void into 152 pieces. Mario then goes to the Star of the Void to ask for his help, so she says that she can locate Mario's friends if he can get her pieces together, so that her powers would be restored and finding them would be a mere joke, Mario will then in search of its pieces through the Slit Canals located in the palaces existing in the Void.

1.1 Patch Notes

-Fixed Bugs in First World and Time Trials;
-Added "Clock" that starts Time Trial and the timer, it ensures a life, so you do not lose enough lives to give Game Over while trying to catch the Time Star;
-Added a small story to the game;
-Added a map of the world;
-Added the second HUB along its six levels and a Boss Road;
-Maximum number of stars defined in 152.
-Added boss outputs in SMB2 style.
-Added Star of the Void, map that gives tips on where to find secret levels and serves as the exit door for them.

This looks really promising! Love the episode so far! The 3rd screenshot looks like 2-3 in nsmb. I really hope you don't give this up. Its really good

Thank you! This graphic was taken from the NSMBDS in a 2D version, I got packages from the graphics packages I downloaded.

I see a lot of references to the NSMB saga, but... in the level "Above the Clous", maybe you put too much fog/clouds?
Anyway, I like this. Good job!

The "Above the Clouds" goal creates a chaotic climate with cloud graphics, forming mists combined with the clouds themselves to generate a "lack of vision" for the player, this is the difficulty in the phase, passing without being affected by lack of vision. But you gave me a good idea with this comment, I will balance the mists and make them a little more transparent, thanks for the feedback!

tbh, i dont get volcanic fall, do you just litterly fall while doging lava though the entire level? If so, it sounds boring. PS. i also see that it has the propeller suit, does that mean this is for 1.4.4?

Yes it works in 1.4.4 for descriptive in the lava you need the propeller suit, holding the "A" key to descend more slowly, when falling through the hole you automatically win the suit.
