I'm wanting to re-create Wario Land 2 in SMBX 1.3.0.1 and I need help with some areas (such as the secret areas and bosses).

I'm having troubles with the secret areas, treasures, a few enemys and all of the bosses.Snessy the duck wrote:Could you maybe be more specific? What exact things are you having trouble recreating?
That's still super vagueteh_supar_hackr wrote:I'm having troubles with the secret areas, treasures, a few enemys and all of the bosses.Snessy the duck wrote:Could you maybe be more specific? What exact things are you having trouble recreating?
That's still super vague[/quFor the bee boss I don't know how to make Wario float up, I don't know how I would recreate scripts without use of Lua mods (SMBX 2.0 does not count for me). For the blocks you destroy by ground pounding I'm wanting to recreate but can't figure out how to make it do so. Should I just continue this project for SMBX 2.0? Sorry if that was vague.PixelPest wrote:teh_supar_hackr wrote:I'm having troubles with the secret areas, treasures, a few enemys and all of the bosses.Snessy the duck wrote:Could you maybe be more specific? Yes, do it in SMBX2 using LunaLua.teh_supar_hackr wrote:That's still super vague[/quFor the bee boss I don't know how to make Wario float up, I don't know how I would recreate scripts without use of Lua mods (SMBX 2.0 does not count for me). I will, but how do I install LunaLua?The0x539 wrote:Yes, do it in SMBX2 using LunaLua.teh_supar_hackr wrote:That's still super vague[/quFor the bee boss I don't know how to make Wario float up, I don't know how I would recreate scripts without use of Lua mods (SMBX 2.0 does not count for me). I'm not sure if I have SMBX 2.0, but I can just reinstall that. Do you know what limitations there are with Lua modsCedur wrote:it's already there if you have 2.0.
I'm unfamiliar with lua coding language, but always wanted to learn it for not only modding SMBX but also for making Gmod mods. Do you know a place where I can download lua mods that I can use for this episode?Hoeloe wrote:Your imagination and programming skill, mostly.
You're not thinking of it in the right way. You don't "download mods". LunaLua is a programming environment you can use to modify SMBX. You write code, you don't download mods.teh_supar_hackr wrote:I'm unfamiliar with lua coding language, but always wanted to learn it for not only modding SMBX but also for making Gmod mods. Well it seems like I have to learn LunaLua.Hoeloe wrote:You're not thinking of it in the right way. You don't "download mods". LunaLua is a programming environment you can use to modify SMBX. I swore I saw somewhere to download scripts for this. I was never too foucused on Lunalua mods anyways, and scence then have learned to work around the limits of SMBX 1.3.0.1, or use SMBX 2.0.teh_supar_hackr wrote: ↑Thu Oct 12, 2017 10:14 amWell it seems like I have to learn LunaLua.Hoeloe wrote:You're not thinking of it in the right way.
