For those who doesn't even watch the Weather Channel, there's going to be a
Total Eclipse 24 days from today!
So, who's excited about this event?

Yeah, I would rather not go to a high crime area, so the hype is already defated.

The annoying thing is that you will have to wait until after I may be dead to see a total solar eclipse in my country. Given the location, then there is no way it can be visible outside the US (at least as a total solar eclipse).

I doubt you would be able to see the total eclipse from Pueeto Rico. Maybe a partial. You would probably have to check where it is visile.

The total solar eclipse will go straight over just 30 or so minutes from my home, in fact bill nye will be present there, so I'm definitely looking forward to checking that out.

For anyone not knowing the path:
No matter where you are in
the US North America you will be able to see a partial solar eclipse anyways. Unless it's a full solar eclipse, don't stare at the sun, get a welder's helmet or something.

Looks like I'll be getting about 0.8 magnitude which is still pretty good. Looking forward to it, you don't see this a lot!

I'm in Puerto Rico for my vacation, from what I've heard it will pass by San Juan as well.
Welp, here comes a once in a possible human lifetime event.
