Block Placement problem

I have been having an issue with SMBX's level editor.

The left and bottom of the level window will not let me put down anything and my mouse vanishes from view. This is really annoying, even though I could move around the area to where I can place down blocks, however, because of this, I do not want to edit levels cause this problem slows me down a bit.

I also have noticed the splash screen for the editor is bigger than the picture as well.

System Information:

CPU: AMD A8-5600K APU with Radeon(tm) HD Graphics (3710.87 MHz)
Memory: 4050 MB
OS Version: Microsoft Windows 7 64-bit Service Pack 1 (Build 7601)
Graphics Card Vendor: NVIDIA Corporation
Graphics Card: GeForce GTX 650 Ti BOOST/PCIe/SSE2
Windows Graphics Driver Version: 9.18.0013.3221
OpenGL Version: 4.4.0

I use an hdtv for a monitor too, just don't know the specs of it.

EDIT: I found my issue. For anyone else that has this issue, the two below this post may help, if not and you use Windows 7, try to keep the dpi scaling to 100%. any larger will mess up the level edit window in SMBX. Any moderator can lock this if they like.

Hm, I had that problem on Windows XP (Laptop) but that problem is only that the placements of the Level Window was a bit off the screen (Specific: Scrolling down while choosing a Tile/background/NPC/etc., the whole Level Window was up the screen) and if I am back while it is still like that, I could not put stuff somewhere until I moved my Level Window (not in the Level, the Window itself) a bit or if I chosed a different Tile. That was because my screen was kinda small to play and edit SMBX Stuff. Are you sure that your screen is big enough to edit SMBX Levels?

My screen is an HD monitor, 22" so I think so. lol, it worked fine on my older computer's monitor just fine and that was really small.
Selecting new didn't work.

It's fair game to bump those topics for this purpose. I'll merge them.

I fixed the problem. Turns out what the guy who had the problem first did also works on Windows 8.
