I made a simple, new desert tileset for the next update of my graphics back. A lot of the elements from this tileset are slightly restyled versions from other tilesets.
This one is still heavily WIP and I am planning to add a small ruins tileset to go along with this one too together with some additonal bone-based things and perhaps a few sizables.

I'd like to hear everyone's thoughts on it.

That looks quite good Witchking. I See a use of old tilesets remastered, but it fits nicely.

the snail shells don't look very round.

They are fossils. But I agree I gotta round em more. They look square-esque.

Basic Grass/Jungle Tileset I'll add more BGO's soon.

That desert tileset looks really, really good. I love it when a tileset has a decorative foreground like we're seeing with the fossils here.

I have seen all those graphics before...
Did you recolor them? Because in that case you should credit the original creators.

I did the Grass tileset. Although I remade some of them to look "somewhat" original.
EDIT: the fill is from smbx.

that looks pretty good. I also like the cacti. Shading looks great.

Is it wrong to use 2x2 pixels for spriting/formatting like that?

Anyways, the colors made my eyes bleed a little. Furthermore, it looks really adorable and cool. ^^
